Footbridge strengthens local institutions to drive systems change in the areas they serve every day. Our work is informed by deep contextual research, participatory design, and our proven Five-Phase Change Framework. While our work spans across all sustainable development goals, some themes stand out as cross cutting across many of our interventions. Delivered in partnership with our technical partners, these are:

Gender and Inclusion

We promote safe digital usage, facilitate better e-governance and strengthen secured data security. We work with governments and local institutions to co-design safe, accessible and inclusive digital services and participatory governance systems.

We prioritize climate adaptive programing that promotes resilience, facilitates adoption of green livelihoods, and shifts non-sustainable behaviours and consumptions.

We adopt an intersectional approach to help institutions integrate inclusive policies and practices into program design, policy delivery, and community engagement.
